Physical Inventory
The Division Manager or her designee will work with the Department of Medicine's DPA in conducting a Physical Inventory of all capital equipment. This inventory must be conducted every 2 years. A physical inventory is performed to verify the existence, locations, status, and condition of assets, and to verify the accuracy of records. This process is the mechanism by which the University is able to check the effectiveness of its property management systems and procedures.
